Tunisian Traditional Dress – Horse Culture

Horses have been part of human culture since we began domesticating them. Fridays are a great day for all of us to celebrate horse culture from around the globe.

This is an example of traditional Tunisian dress and presumably the lovely horse tack is traditional to some degree as well. They are both stunning, as it the horse, which we are guessing is a Mogod Pony, but there could be other breeds in Tunisia we haven’t met yet. Wow, that sunny yellow sure pops against the bay’s coat, what a spectacular duo. The stirrups we are divided about, in theory they look great. Although in practice they seem overly cumbersome? What do you think?
