We thought this video was too cool not to share. There is something almost magical about a good dressage team & this is no exception. Made even more interesting by the skeleton painstakingly drawn on to both rider & animal.
Lovely Pile of Bones
International Dressage Rider Matt Frost rides AMD Don Rosso II in an advanced dressage to music freestyle as the finale at the Reasons vs Excuses Lecture Demonstration with Adam Kemp and Gillian Higgins.
Learning & Being Entertained
We love the combination of education & demonstration by this pair. Not to mention the anatomical artwork that covers both of them.
We were inspired by these to make something like this for Halloween – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OCKuWefetA Yet to do a whole dressage animation out of it but we might!
Anyone at any level can go without a real helemt as long as their over 16. (in eventing anyway) And dressage is way safer than jumping. Do you know how many people got seriously injured last year doing recognized dressage? Like 2. How many people got badly injured last year on recognized XC/Showjumping? Over 30. I am an eventer. I know a lot about dressage and yes one little spook can throw you off. But not very many people fall an break their heads open.
