The lovely little Icelandic horses provide endless inspiration for photographers. Their conformation is proud, they come in an endless variety of colors and Iceland is truly a stunning backdrop. While it’s often grand vistas, this picture has a much more cozy summer meadow feeling. The practice of mutual backscratching is endearing and shows how important horse herd instincts are.
