This picture was taken near Pullman, Washington, featuring Fred Jennings in his farmyard with the first horses that he purchased in 1899.
Why We Like It
For such an old photograph is conveys a lot. Mr. Jennings’ pride in his new purchase is evident and the animals are a fairly well-matched team. They all managed to stay still long enough to produce an image worthy of Fred’s pride.
