The Sheer Beauty of Stallions

Stallion

Hands down my favorite member of the equine family will always be the stallion, there is just something about their wild unpredictability, not to mention such extreme personality.

I can honestly say I’ve met very few animals with a personality as big as that of a stud horse.

I’m Not The Only One

I started digging around for pictures of stallions and to my delight I was able to come up with some pretty amazing shots. Photographers seem to appreciate the challenge of capturing their spirit on film.

Horse Jobs – Broodmare Manager

Broodmare Manager

This is a position which benefits from a teamwork attitude, strong attention to detail and a thorough knowledge of the life and cyclical changes of the female horse.

The ability to be firm but with a gentle touch, a deep understanding of equine nutrition and a strong love for the animal are traits of a well-placed broodmare manager.

Twittering Horse Professionals

Twitter LogoAnyone who knows about twitter knows that it’s a pretty addictive way to meet fellow horse people. I encourage everyone to get signed up and start making friends. (Be sure to add me when you do).

Too Big To Be Useful

Many of those already on twitter have probably seen my list of horse people and professionals on twitter. The lists are getting so long they are difficult to manage (and update) so I decided to break them down into pages dedicated to more well-defined sections.
