I’ve almost exhausted all of the horse apps I could find on iTunes – so I’m moving on to horse movies before I attach the equine app for iPads department. Horse movies seem to be a popular subject so I hope you find one you like.
Horse Movies At Your Fingertips
It’s a decent sized list considering that horse movies are a fairly obscure genre. It took some serious digging, but I’ve got a pretty long waiting list of horse movies to watch now! For each movie I’ve provided a (very) brief description and a link to them on the iTunes store.
All The Pretty Horses
A western about two Texas cowboys who find trouble right after one of them finds a forbidden love with a wealthy rancher’s daughter.
Black Beauty – 1971
Not based on Anna Sewell’s novel, this is a classic story of a boy’s love for his horse.
Black Beauty – 1994
This version is based on Anna Sewell’s novel and chronicles the sad life of a horse in the late 19th century.
Casey’s Shadow
A family movie which aims to prove that looks can be deceiving and sometimes you just have to believe in yourself.

A young equestrian has to decide what she wants for her life, to become a pro rider or to follow her heart to college.

The Legend of the Lone Ranger
He is the only Texas Ranger to survive the ambush arranged by Butch Cavandish. So naturally he puts on a mask and returns on his white horse to save the day.

The Return of a Man Called Horse
An English man called Horse returns to the American west to save his adopted Native tribe from extinction.
The Story of Seabiscuit
Probably the original Seabiscuit movie, this one is from the ’40’s and stars Shirley Temple.
The Wild Horse Redemption
A documentary that features an inmate-run wild horse taming & training program in a Colorado prison.
The Young Black Stallion
Based on Stephen Farley’s novel, this movie was made for IMAX theaters and was celebrated for its cinematography.
Touching Wild Horses
A drama about an orphaned boy whose life is touched by wild horses when his aunt takes him in.

I want to download a horse movie on iTunes on to a USB but I don’t know witch one I should choose. O want to dowlas the whole heartland series but I don’t know if I can.
