The Hong Kong Jockey Club Equine Welfare Research Foundation hosted its first Conference for Equine Welfare in Hong Kong.
The three-day conference brought together 220 experts and delegates from 25 countries. The theme was “Applying Science to the Care of the Thoroughbred Racehorse” and the talks focused on bridging scientific research with real-world practices. Industry leaders and researchers shared their insight on topics ranging from injury prevention and early diagnosis to data-driven policy solutions, fostering global collaboration for evidence-based equine care.
