Image from Bundesarchiv
Over the past few months I’ve been featuring collections of old horse photography. It’s so interesting to see how horse life has changed over the years and to see how it was in times past.
The Collection Closes
For now I’ve exhausted my collection, but I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for more unique old shots. If you haven’t seen them already be sure to check out the first few sections, Pt. 1, Pt. 2 & Pt. 3.
Feeling Light
This is perhaps the smallest part of the series, but each of the images provides such a unique look at horsemanship during their time. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the series Pt. 1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3
WOW looks at the tiny little waist on the woman in that last photo! Beautiful picture, but eeek!
Those darn corsets! You know, they actually caused internal organ damage….:o
Sidesaddles are rediculous!
I mean ridiculous!
Mmm…yes, sidesaddles bad for backs of both horse and rider 😉 Enjoyed the photos thanx.
