A look at seal roan horses around the world and on a variety of different breeds.
The roan white pattern on a brown results in a grey to blueish to pinkish coat with a black mane tail and points. They will also display the characteristic reddening of soft parts like muzzle and elbows, although they may be more difficult to distinguish on the body. Seal roan can be mistaken for other color combinations, (especially grullos), however roan horses will always retain their base color on their mane, tail and points.
