The Leopard complex is responsible for a huge variety of different spotting patterns, some rarer than others. What is rare within the spotting pattern is spot clusters found on some horses displaying full leopard characteristics (white with spots of base color scattered throughout the coat). On some animals the spots of base color can blend together, creating a larger spot which looks like a cluster. There is not much information about this type of marking to be found.
