A look at seal cream horses around the world and on a variety of different breeds.
A double dose of the cream dilution gene on a seal coat causes a rather dramatic change in their color. All hair on the body can be lightened from a creamy grey to pure white, making them difficult to distinguish from the other cream colors and masking their signature brown muzzle. On a brown base mane, tail and points can be slightly darker with a yellow or tan tinge. A double dose of the cream dilution gene always creates animals with blue eyes and pink skin.
