Perhaps the lightest of the bunch, cremellos are caused by a double dose of the cream gene on a chestnut base. Their coat color varies from bright white to dark cream and while their mane and tail can be a shade or two darker, they are usually pure white as well. This is a (slight) visual distinguishing factor for cremellos, as they are the only base color that has no black hairs to dilute. All animals with a double dose of the cream dilution have pink skin and blue eyes.
