This expo was founded by a natural hoof trimmer & an equine sport therapist with the intention of organizing an event dedicated to complimentary therapy for horses.
This year they are working in collaboration with Just Horsin’ Around 2010.
Their fourth year and running the expo showcases demonstrations by some of the industries finest & proceeds go directly to helping horses in the care of the BC SPCA.

An expo to celebrate all things horse – the event is so popular that they are held at four different locations throughout Colorado each year.
In addition to a number of demonstrations & clinics there is also an art show, a crafts fair, informative classes and their Mane Attraction nightly show.
Not just for horse lovers, there is plenty of fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Attention: There has been a bit of speculation about this show, and I’ve confirmed that the Black Hills Horse Expo will NOT be held this year (2010). Sorry to all of those who enjoyed the event. The convention discussions and meetings are held annually by the American Quarter Horse Association. This is a chance for breeders, trainers, owners and horse lovers to congregate and discuss issues affecting the industry & discuss proposed changes.
The registration fee is $100.00 for a name badge and admittance to meetings, social events and breakfast.
*The Awards Hall of Fame Banquet is not included in general admission cost.

A show put together to celebrate the beautiful and colorful paint horses of America. Offers a wide variety of different competitions & classes for all types of paint horse owners.
In 2009 exhibitors & spectators helped to raise $50,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation in Tulsa.
8th year of this fair it offers horse people of all types a place to congregate and talk horse. From trade shows & auctions to handmade goods.
Grounds include heated stable areas, and climate controlled arena and exhibition area.
Admission is free all three days for spectators.
In light of the current economic situation the folks over at Horse Affairs made the tough decision to skip 2010 on their event schedule.
The event will be returning in 2011 in full force with more horse information and trade.

This show is put on by Uniting Reining Deutschland and the NRHA of the US. They are proud to offer the highest prize purses paid for reining outside of the US.
Last year was their first year and they attracted 300 horses and competitors and more than 10,000 visitors. In addition to the shows there will also be a trade show with over 20 vendors offering western tack, equipment and apparel.
Admission is free for spectators.
