Intro
The Half Saddlebred Registry of America was formed in 1971 to encompass the many cross breeds using the American Saddlebred horse.
Origins
Saddlebreds have always been known for their quality, refinement and smooth gaits. Their blood tends to cross well and have an enhancing effect on other breeds. To register as a Half-Saddlebred, an animal must have at least one parent registered with the American Saddlebred Association.
