Origins

The Half Saddlebred Registry of America was formed in 1971 to encompass the many cross breeds using the American Saddlebred horse. Saddlebreds have always been known for their quality, refinement & smooth gaits and their blood tends to cross well and enhance other breeds. To register as a Half-Saddlebred must have at least one parent registered with the American Saddlebred Association.
