It’s that time of the week again, time for some colorful horse artwork. I’ve been working my way through the horse rainbow & sharing collections of art featuring every color I can find.
Spots Everywhere
As can be imagined, the appaloosa art isn’t as prolific as some of the other colors, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some beautiful stuff out there. Hope you enjoy today’s selection of appaloosa art and be sure to check out the other colors too. white (pt. 2) | black (pt. 2) | red | pinto | palomino
Not Quite Finished
Believe it or not I have one more color to share, the bay horses. Stay tuned for part one of another 2 part collection next week, & until then be sure to check out the rest. white (pt. 2) | black (pt. 2) | red | pinto | palomino
i think these paintings are not very good they dont show us enything and i could do better then that when i was 9 years old
@ Amy,
All I can do is laugh and shake my head at your ridiculous post. You say (guffaw) that you could do better than the Masters represented here when you were nine. Well, where are your fantastical offerings? What gallery may we peruse? Amy, may I suggest you need more/less meds than you are presently taking, as your take on reality is a bit askew.
These are awesome. Toulouse Lautrec, c’mon. The musculature is rendered amazingly!
Thank you – and have a nice christmastime!
I love appaloosas! They’re so pretty and enduring and child friendly and…*goes on forever*
The best of all, for me, was Czarniecki under Plock.
Yeesh, that bit Elizabeth has is HUGE!
I would love to know the dates/countries or locations of the paintings, clearly most if not all are european and not US origin; the breeds are not modern, and it is interesting to note the changing painter’s eye toward the formal perfection of beauty of the horse.
