At one time the breeding and exporting of horses was a large part of the Puerto Rican economy. Many of the horses of Mexico have bloodline roots in Puerto Rico, including the favored Paso Fino horse.
Both the Paso Fino and the Thoroughbred horses are still a large part of life there and the local people have a high respect for horsemanship.
Cats are a commonly employed in stables and barns as rodent patrol. It seems these working residents develop close relationships with the horses they live next door to.

For those of you unfamiliar with lolcats (and lolhorses as the case may be), the idea is to essentially take a cute/funny/silly animal picture and add clever captions using internet slang (or in this case lolspeak).
The idea started with cats, and as their popularity grew, people began to caption pictures of all kinds of animal.
The result can take a crappy picture and make it priceless with a few poorly spelled words.
Interestingly (and perhaps sadly) enough, the worse the spelling the funnier they seem to be.

This is a position which benefits from previous teaching experience, knowledge of a specific discipline and a strong communication skill set. Riding instructors must work with both animals and people which requires a delicate balance.
The ability to work with animals and people simultaneously and attention to detail are fundamental aspects of a good riding instructor.
If you don’t have a car to show off to your girl in, a wagon is the next best thing. Hitch up your fastest horse and head down to the nearest frozen pond for some heart-stopping action.

Home of the Fjord horse (also known as Fjording) which is one of the worlds oldest breeds. The Fjord possesses very pure bloodlines and has been selectively bred in Western Norway for 2000 years.
The municipalities of Gloppen and Eid both feature the fjord horse in their coat of arms.
