Rare Ponies A-EPonies have long been a big part of agricultural communities because they don’t eat too much and they tend to be hardy and strong.

Over the years our need for animals has changed considerably. Now we breed them for specific traits, many of which are more suited for the show ring than they are for the family farm.

The first of my horses around the world series, I choose America first simply because I’m American and I love horses.

This series will offer a (romanticized) peek into the equestrian lifestyles of many different cultures and places. I have been looking high and low to find quality examples of horses in many nations.
