White Horses in Art Pt 2

Neptunes Horses - Walter Crane
Recently I’ve been featuring horses in art by color, it’s been interesting to see the how the different colors are depicted in art. So far we’ve taken a look at white horses, red horses & black horses.

Full Circle

While I’ve got more colors to share, I enjoyed many of these paintings and wanted to post part 2 of white horses in art before venturing into new territory.

That’s All I’ve Got

Although my white horse collection has been exhausted (the reds too) I’ve got more black horse art to share. Be sure to check out the horse colors section to see what might be coming next.

That first picture is stunning. Would love something like that.

I’ve seen one which, while not strictly a “horse” per se (it’s a kelpie, so it’s a mythological horse spirit-thingy!), shows a white horse diving into a lake with a young boy on its back.
