As I’ve been delving into the strange & unusual world of horse art I’ve been sharing collections as I go along. It was an interesting summer and I’m looking forward to an even more artistic autumn & winter season.
Artistic Challenge
Let’s face it, there are only so many ways you can represent a horse in art…however there are an almost unlimited number of art forms & techniques that give each piece it’s own panache. For each piece I tried to track down the artist & it’s current location (if anyone is privy to info about a piece, please leave it for me in the comments below so I can add it).
Be sure to go take a look at the first five parts as well Pt. 1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3 | Pt. 4 | Pt. 5 (I just can’t get enough of the stuff).
The artists below prove to us that equine art can pop up anywhere – made out of anything.
The Natural Course of Things
It turns out that horse art might just be unusual by nature & that’s ok with me. Be sure to check out the first five parts & believe it or not I’ve got more to come.
Pt. 1 | Pt. 2 | Pt. 3 | Pt. 4 | Pt. 5
I love this series! I hope you continue it:)
The horse and rider sculpture by Belinda Vallani is gorgeous. I also like the giant horsehead in London…very cool.
OK, I’m really horrible at critiquing and writing about art, but I know what I like:) Just about everything you’ve posted in this series is at least interesting and unique. Thanks!
