Black Horse Art

Ayusi Scattering Rebels with Upraise Spear - Lang Shining
Recently I’ve been featuring horse art in a different way entirely, by color. It’s an interesting journey and allows me to share art from a wide variety of artists & styles. So far I’ve featured the art of white & red horses and today it’s the mighty blacks.

Artists Love Black Horses

Much like the white animals, black horses are prolific in artwork (enough that I had to create a part 2). Generally portrayed as strong and swarthy these pitch colored animals are often carrying important men or soldiers into battle.

So Many Colors

Be sure to check out the sweet art of white horses, the more vibrant art of red horses and stay tuned for more colorful art (and part 2 of the black horses).
