The hotly discussed Mongol Derby is the longest & harshest horse race in the world. The race re-creates the vast messenger system of 1000 kilometers created by Genghis Khan.
An Ongoing Series
While no one can agree with the rough treatment of animals in this race, I could easily say the same thing about most modern equestrian sports. This one comes from years of tradition and is a part of equestrian history. Episode three finds Barry and Joe well-rested and only 10 kilometers behind the leaders. It’s all about good horse selection and the guys know it.

I’m sorry but I had no where else to put this. What happened to the site? Last time I checked (a couple months ago) the site had a green theme. Now its black and white on all pages but the breeds page.
