We’ve all heard of the Pony Express – the postal service of the wild, wild west. Well, they were pretty serious about the mail in a quick & efficient manner. In fact, they couldn’t even be bothered to slow down when transferring the bag from a spent rider to a fresh one.
Keeping Tradition Alive
Here is a quick (although a little shaky) video of a mail bag exchange between riders as it was done back in the day of the Pony Express.

A Tough Job
When I was a kid I thought I was born in the wrong century and should have been riding a horse to school. The Pony Express is another world from that, no thanks to hours in the saddle for someone else’s junk mail!
