Today’s horse image truly needs no explanation, it’s just adorable and the scenery is so incredibly lush.
Why We Like it
This is the cutest little Dartmoor pony in his meadow of ferns. A landscape that lush could only come from the British Isles. Dartmoor ponies have been in the UK for a very, very, very long time (like the first mention of them was in 1012 long time). Later they found a (probably horrible) home in the mining industry.
Although the Dartmoor is known for having a hardy constitution for eating poor roughage, it should be noted that braken fern can be toxic to horses.
