LaRaedo Barn Management Software

A guest post courtesy of Marie Taulbee over at LaRaedo Software who wanted to share a little about her handy barn management software.

LaRaedoImagine, as a farm owner, offering your horse boarder a log on service that allows them to check on the daily care status of their horse, obtain details about their lessons or training, being able to receive and send alert messages and access their itemized monthly invoice?

Born Through Experience

Those are a few of the benefits provided by LaRaedo. Marie Taulbee envisioned creating software like this several years ago. It really hit home one day when she wanted know if her gelding would be taken out to the paddock but was not able to reach anyone on the barn phone. Marie lived in the city and worked full time so getting to the barn everyday didn’t always happen. She kept seeing him cooped up in his stall all day without exercise.

That was when Marie decided that someday she would figure out a way to improve the connection between the barn and the boarder. There were just too many times that she needed information and realized that the owner was busy doing farm management and could not be reached.

Computers & Communication

Working in the computer environment for over twenty years, she saw first hand a variety of ways that computer applications were created for the purpose of improving communication. She was involved in various large projects where there were multiple departments working together for one common goal.

Marie loves horses and she loves figuring out ways to improve processes so in November 2008, she got to work researching a way to bring the farm owner, their employees and the farm customers together using a unique web-based software.

Safe & Easy To Use

The software resides on a secure hosting server so nothing needs to be downloaded. It assists in reducing workload by enabling farm staff to manage their own calendars with daily maintenance and progress updates keeping everyone informed. It also provides an automated invoice service and generates revenue-tracking reports.
