Recently I was contacted by Linda Alexander-Radak about this fun horse art project in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. It is an art show celebrating the lovely equine and they have an open call for entries to artists worldwide.
they are open to all media as long as it is of the horse nature and will accept paintings, mixed media, collage, drawings, photography & sculpture. Show will be Nov. 5th – 21st 2009 &
Information for Submissions

Entry Guidelines Participants may enter up to 3 jpegs of your artwork. If the images are posted on a webpage, you may submit the URL where they can be found.

What to Include in Your Submission Emails
- Full Name
- Address
- Phone Number
- Website
- Artist statement explaining your work (under 100 words please)
- 3 Images of your art with title, dimensions & price
Gallery Framing Requirements
All accepted work must be properly framed, wired, labeled, or be gallery wrapped with the sides painted. Juried work will not be hung if it does not meet these guidelines.
On the back of each painting, attach a 3 x 5 card to the top right hand corner with your name, title, medium, price and phone number. Entries without identifying card cannot be displayed.
Size Restrictions
If shipping The outer measurement of the frame should be no larger than 30” wide x 40” high.
If dropping off locally it must easily fit thru a standard door and be no taller than 8 foot.
Three-dimensional work Must be under 50 pounds in weight and must be finished.
All art must be the original creation of the submitting artist and no works in progress will be accepted.
Delivering Accepted Art
Art should be delivered no later than November 2nd and should be sent to the following address. They ask that art be shipped in a reusable shipping carton & include a paid return shipping label.

Removal of Gallery Work
Work must be removed by Saturday, November 28.
Unsold Work that was shipped to Linda Radak – City/ART will be shipped back to the artist during the week of November 28.
Sold Work City/ART will retain a 40 % commission from the price you have listed and will send you a check for the remaining sale price.
Any work that is not claimed by November 28th will become the property of City/ART.
Insurance: While every precaution will be taken to see that no damage or theft occurs to the entries, the artist assume full risk for entry and exhibit of their work. City/ART will not be responsible for loss or damage from any cause.

Rights:
I agree to release and hold harmless City/ART, it’s
employees, and the Equine Art Committee from any
damages and/or lawsuits resulting from entering artwork in this
equine art show. By entering this show artist agrees to all of the
terms and requirements as outlined in the prospectus.
City/ART reserves the right to post your images on our website, use your images for promotion of the show, photograph the event and retain a set of images of the exhibit. These materials will be used solely for promotional, and documentation purposes.
