Man and His Horse
Taken in Sudak with the spectacular Genoese fortress in the background. Maybe his rider took too long touring the site, so this horse got fed up and just started home without them. Whatever the story behind the photo, it’s a stunning image. The horse’s tack is unique and beautiful, as is the animal, probably a Russian riding horse, or maybe not…is that a lateral gait? Whatever the breed, that magnificent fort makes quite the backdrop and is hopefully still around for future generations to appreciate.
