We’ve updated the listing, thanks Megan!
You are forgetting Morrisville State in NY! Not only is it one of the cheapest schools with all the amenities it has to offer, I don’t know of another school which offers concentrations in Breeding, Hunt Seat, Western, Rehab (just built a gorgeous new facility) Standardbred Racing, and TB racing. Also, there are both an A.S. and B.S option for a degree. There are full year study abroad opportunities in the Netherlands and ICELAND (find that one!) also a wildlife management class in S. Africa. It’s about 30 miles from Syracuse, which believe it or not, has quite an equestrian culture- like the Syracuse International Horse Show (where I’ve seen Beezie Madden ride—- P.S. Beezie’s barn is 10 miles away in Cazenovia, NY.) Syracuse also has a great standard of living and if you like basketball, look no further! 🙂 Morrisville also has a D-3 Hunt Seat and Western Team AND the horses are top notch. Not to mention you don’t have to buy a $3000 Devoucoux saddle, $200 Tailored Sportsman breeches or a $400 GPA to SCHOOL in like you do at Findlay. WHY is this school not included?!
Findlay University..
Doesn’t University of tennessee, knoxville have a good equine research program??
The Rocky Mountain School for Animal Acupressure and Massage is an accredited school that offers programs for equine, as well as canine, massage and acupressure. The equine classes are based in Colorado, and they offer canine classes in Florida.
Hollins Athletics specializes in Horses! Competitions, degrees, etc.
