A relatively new breed, the Czech Colblood is a robust draft type bred primarily for use in the forestry industry.
Origins
Czechoslovakia began developing a cold blooded horse at the start of the twentieth century and after 1900 draft strains were imported from the Netherlands, Belgium and Noric coldbloods from Alpine lands.
