Over the past few weeks I’ve been having a ball wandering around iTunes looking for all things horse. There is already an endless supply of interesting & useful horse apps, equestrian games even some designed to simply waste time.
Horses At Your Fingertips
As I started collecting I realized that my list was never going to stop growing. So I’ve created posts around smaller collections with more specific themes. For each one I’ve provided a brief description and a link to them on the iTunes app store.

we are looking for an app that will keep track of each horse in our barn ie: when purchased, how much we paid, any medical attention needed, when sold, for what amount etc. etc. any ideas?
As a fox hunter, I am looking for an iPhone appliaction that can tell me the following: total distance and country covered, average speed, fastest speed, total time at checks, altitude climbed and decended etc.
Hi Norman, for what you’ve described, the app runtastic will do all that for you (don’t be fooled by the name). My husband is a trail runner, and he always uses it. I believe it gives even more information, but I’m not sure what. You can also install it on your computer, and compare “runs” from the past, or view performance over a period of time, lots of other stuff. hope this was helpful.
