Who doesn’t love to look at beautiful pictures of horses when they aren’t using their computer? Here is a handy list of places to find horse screensavers for the equine lover in every computer-geek.
It’s not a long list but it includes my favorite Bev Doolittle painting, Pintos so I had to share it. Chazhound offers quick download of several quality screensavers.
Not just for horses, Free Downloads Center is a handy website anyway. They have quite a few horse screensavers, but you might have to dig through several pages to find them all.
This one is for the ladies, (and some of the men) so the focus of these aren’t entirely on the horses in them. However there is a horse in every single one, so they qualify as horse screensavers too. Thanks Weight Lifter.
This isn’t the greatest resource, but Soft Platz has a few that I didn’t see other places, (and there are several pages) so they are worth a look.
Ultimate Savers doesn’t have very many horses to offer, but what they do have is unique and I like the dressage art.
Not the most comprehensive list, but it helps to make mine more comprehensive, so I added it. Complete Rider has some interesting images to choose from.
This is a horse photographer who has put together some of their best shots into a screensaver for your computer. There is only one on this page, but it’s free.
A quick list of 10 horse screensavers (some that you don’t see every day), Amazing Animal Screensavers has plenty more of your favorite animals too.
Not a very pretty site, and there are no thumbnails, (you have to click on each one to see a sample of what it is), but AAA Screensavers has a whole section of screensavers dedicated to horses. Again it’s more about filtering through the crap to get to the good stuff.
Probably the best resource on this page, Fun Utilities has 5 pages dedicated to horse screensavers. The images are high quality (this one looks bad because I had to blow it up) and unique, something for everyone.
One for the unicorn lovers, dedicated solely to unicorns Lair2000 offers some cool fantasy screensavers.
If you can’t find that perfect horse screensaver to suit you at any of these sites, you can always go find your favorite images and make your own.

oh my there are such pretty pictures on there. I think you should get alot more but with more horses in the pictures. They are really gorgeous but they is not enough horses in them. When I take pictures I love to get lots of background and more things.
