It seems everyone can relate to a cute blue eyed horse and the first installment was very well-received by readers & social media friends. It’s been fun hearing about everyone’s favorite light eyed animal.
In fact, I received several reader contributions so I decided to dedicate part 3 solely to your blue eyed submissions.
If you have a great shot of your blue eyed horse leave a comment below and I’ll email you where to send your pic. All images will be credited (and linked) to you as the source.
If you’ve already contacted me or sent a pic, you’ll see it in part 3! 🙂 For now here are a few more adorable peeper pics I wanted to share.

I’d love to see more of your animals, it’s such an interesting way to connect with my readers. So bring on the blue eyed pics! I’ll be glad to share a brief blurb about your trusty mount with the pic as well.
Hey! I love blue-eyed horses too! In fact, I know of a good picture of a pony that I grew up with, and it would be cool if you could have her picture in your Pt. 3 e-newsletter! Thanks!
Hi Esther,
Thanks for your comment, I sent you an email with instructions for sending your pic. 🙂
We have a blue eyed Paint Mare named Panda. I have a pretty cute shot of her I would love to share with you.
Hi Deirdra,
Thanks for your comment and I’d love to use a shot of Panda. I don’t have an email address for you, but you can always contact me directly and we can go from there.
I have pictures of a horse I used to ride who had two blue eyes, but all the pics aren’t very good and blury 🙁
I too would love to send you a photo of my handsome horse with just one blue eye!
My daughter has a beautiful solid paint with one blue eye. I would love to show him off.
I purchased a gorgeous, unbroke, three year old, 16h, Chestnut Paint gelding that has one beautiful blue eye with black eyeliner for my daughter who is 15. They fell in love with each other instantly. She was able to gain his trust immidiately and she broke him herself! The side of his face with the blue eye looks like he is a toddler, innocent and curious. The otherside has a half blue, half brown eye. This is his confident, bug-boy side!
I have a realy great pic of one of my mares.
I have a photo of an absolutely stunning paint stallion who has one blue eye. He is not mine and it is a professional picture taken by myself for one of my clients. Let me know if you want it included. I’d be happy to send it over.
I too have some good photos. My horse (who recently died of cancer) was such an amazing fellow….a palomino paint with a soft and gentle brown eye and that “you don’t know what I am thinking” blue one. While riding in parades the little kids would always ask if he was blind!
If I can share, along with the thousands of others, I would love to.
Pamela,
Saw your comment on the equinest about losing your paint to cancer. I’m so sorry for your loss. I to lost my bay overo paint to cancer on 2-8-09. It started with cancer in his 3rd eyelids and spread from there. He had surgery to remove one eye and chemo in 06 but we were to late, only had him a few more years. What a great horse he was and only 11 yrs old.
