Hi! I'm writing to request permission to post graffiti horse images on my Instagram gallery, @dontdoubtyourhorses I like your extensive graffiti collections very much.

I would credit something along the lines of, "thanks to the Equinest blog (theequinest.com) for sharing this horse, found at 3580.com" Please feel free to edit this credit to your liking. I don't know if you post on Instagram.

p.s. I hadn't heard of Ruby Neri before, so I looked into her work. Found a pretty good, fairly recent article about her on Juxtapoz, she talks about tagging a little bit. www.juxtapoz.com/news/magazine/features/ruby-neri-a-cycle-around-the-sun

I remember this stuff from when I lived there. But I also remember that before this was someone else painting groups of puppies. When I first saw the horse my thought was 'someone ripped off the puppies'

My son is doing his school project on Graffitti. I told him of an artist in SF back in the 90's, who I admired. I loved the work so much, that I would always pull over and take photo's. I thought it was always so exciting to see another horse pop up somewhere. Sometimes, the art would disappear before I could take a picture-and that was kind of sad.
I showed my son my collection of photo's and then suggested we look it up on the internet to see if we could find anything about the artist -
I was so happy to discover several websites about Ruby Neri and her work. I've always wondered who did the work- I think it's great to learn it was a women behind all the great work. Bravo!
