We live in Algodones NM near Palcitas NM North of Albuquerque NM and South of Santa Fe NM. Our property backs up to the San Felipe Indian Reservation, the Blood Line of these beautiful animals go's back to the 1600s when the Spanish Conquistador's introduced them to this territory. This area has been suffering a major drought the past Four Years and these horses are starving to death with no feed or water. The Indians have given us approval to keep water in a large container directly behind our home that backs up directly to the reservation. In addition they are allowing us to feed these poor animals, there is a very kind lady who comes in from Placitas NM. every day to feed them hay she purchases and to take care of them. She is truly a God Send and a Miracle. Is there any organizations we can access for help with feeding these animals Hay Grass, these Horses are truly a gift from God.... Please Help!!!

Hi Roni,

I'm sure Madeline will take all of the help she can get. The best way to get involved is by contacting her on her website.

Good luck!

How can I be involved in this project? I work with a company that makes flower essences for animals that will help the wild mustangs. Go to BlackWingFarms.com or read http://network.bestfriends.org/california/news/30824.html the article I wrote for Best Friends Network.
