					<description><![CDATA[Susan - It&#039;s all in the genes. There is one (or more) gene that switches off colour (brown/black) in the eye, just like it can do with the coat (albino horses). It&#039;s recessive and not many horses carry this gene, so that&#039;s why it&#039;s not that common. I believe it is often connected to a lot of white colouring on the horse, that&#039;s why you see it most in paints and horses with white faces.]]></description>
