Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed their knowledge. My opinion is that she is a very light cremello as well – looks like both of her parents carry a cream gene.

To set the record straight, there is no such thing as an albino horse – what most people think is albino is a double cream dilution on a chestnut animal. They are white, with pink skin and light eyes. It’s hard not to make the mistake, but genetically they are not albino.

The filly is beautiful & I’m sure Windgate Farm is delighted to have her.

Cremello, the muzzle is pink, that means the skin is, too.

Albino horses do not exist. The mutation is simply not present in today’s horses. Her eyes are actually blue,and the flash makes it look pink, you can see it pretty well in the last picture.

I think the eyes look red because of the camera. If an albino horse ever did turn up I think I’d have a heart attack from excitment
