Description
Perennial herbs with large arrow-shaped leaves grow on long stalks, can be variegated. Flowers in a spadix with a green / yellow spathe.

Only during drought conditions, unpalatable.

Symptoms
Burning, swelling and irritation of the mouth and throat, diarrhea, excitability, death.
Danger
Contains calcium oxalate crystals which can be fatal.
