Description
Bulbous perennial, leaves are long and straight. Flowers grow in a spadix surrounded by a white spathe.
Concern Level
Only during drought conditions, unpalatable. Often planted as an ornamental bulb for landscaping.

All parts of the plant are toxic.
Symptoms
Burning and swelling of the lips, mouth and tongue, gastrointestinal discomfort, diarrhea.
Danger
Contains calcium oxalate crystals which can be fatal.
