Their name loosely translates to &#8216;Peninsula Pony&#8217;.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThis breed is likely related to the <a href=\"\/breeds\/pindos-pony\">Pindos<\/a> and later crossed with the blood of <a href=\"\/breeds\/anglo-arabian\">Anglo-Arabians<\/a>, Anglo-Norman and <a href=\"\/breeds\/nonius\">Nonius<\/a> animals. Their  studbook was established in 1994.
