The type was absorbed into the <a href=\"\/breeds\/estonian-draft\">Estonian<\/a>, <a href=\"\/breeds\/lithuanian-draft\">Lithuanian<\/a> and Latvian draft studbooks.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Now considered extinct, the Baltic Ardennes was primarily used for heavy agricultural work.
