This breed is bred in the Catalonian Pyrenees mountains.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>The original crosses for this breed were produced in the Cantabrian Cornice and the mountainous areas of Castile and Leon. Like most of the draft breeds raised in the mountainous areas of Spain, the Hispano-Bret\u00f3n Horse is bred primarily for meat.
