This is not strictly a breed, but rather a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/theequinest.com\/breeds\/kabarda\">Kabarda<\/a> specifically in Kabardino Balkaria.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>The Kabardan types are all strong animals, created by a harsh climate, they are known for great adaptability. While there are three recognized types within the breed, there are no centralized breeding programs, so conformation even between types will be blurry to some degree. The Balkar rarely found outside of this Russian region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic<\/strong> &#8211; The most common type and found in the mountains.
