In fact, they look healthier than most of the lighter riding horse examples that we found. This is a small horse, more pony in stature but closer to a small horse in conformation. They are not particularly handsome animals, but distinct for their ‘normal’ ears in a land of extreme horse ear shapes and tied together by the mountains they inhabit.

They could be a type of Makra Horse, however they don’t seem to carry the same pinto type white markings.

Example Notes

Likely related to animals from India or Nepal, they show Asian pony and saddle horse influence. Not to mention the people with these animals look so happy and handsome that we had to share them. As we have no real information to go on, we’ve taken a stab at describing them (with a little help from ponies of neighboring nations). The examples we’ve selected are all over the place in terms of conformation (one in particular is more clearly a pony), but they show that there are a variety of interesting bloodlines in the country that deserve mention.

Features

Average height 14 hands

Physique

Head is light with a straight or slightly convex profile
Neck is thin
Chest is deep
Legs are thin and strong
Hooves are hard

Traditional Colors

Solid colors

Temperament

Spirited and intelligent
Surefooted and hardworking

Use

Racing
Riding
Transport
Pack animal

More Images

Video

Intro Admittedly this is not a recognized breed, in fact there isn’t really any information about them.

[52
25
post-8145","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-pakistan","tag-solid-colors
["GET
