The Leonharder is a handsome, robust pony that comes from some of the most beloved European and British bloodlines. Creating a pony that is both useful and prolific.

A truly 21st century breed, the Leonharder Pony was the brainchild of a farmer by the name of Johann Abfalter. He started with Haflinger<\/a> and Welsh Ponies<\/a>, breeding their offspring to Andalusian<\/a> animals. Johann’s initial goal was breeding mares for their milk to make cheese. He later decided to start a new breed with the foals.
