These animals are also good riding horse, pack animals and produce solid mules.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>More of a type than a breed, they were established by crossing Crimea and Doni mares to Russian working horses during the mid 19th century. The crosses were good animals with well-developed muscles, useful for transport and draft purposes.
