They were later absorbed into the Percheron studbook in 1966. Essentially breeding them into extinction.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Their studbook was established in 1908 and in 1966 when the Percheron population was declining, this breed and a variety of other draft types with good characteristics were absorbed to bolster numbers.
