{"id":728,"date":"2010-08-09T11:30:52","date_gmt":"2010-08-09T11:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theequinest.com\/breeds\/?p=728"},"modified":"2025-01-15T22:28:17","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T22:28:17","slug":"kandachime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theequinest.com\/breeds\/kandachime","title":{"rendered":"Kandachime Horse"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Intro<\/h3>\n<p>Also called the Kandachi and Handachine Horse, the Kandachime is a Japanese draft breed that comes from the region of Aomori.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>They come from a cross between local horses and the blood of <a href=\"\/breeds\/anglo-arabian\">Anglo-Arabians<\/a>, <a href=\"\/breeds\/arabian-horse\">Arabians<\/a>, <a href=\"\/breeds\/hackney-horse\">Hackney<\/a> and draft blood like the <a href=\"\/breeds\/belgian-draft\">Belgian<\/a> and <a href=\"\/breeds\/breton\">Breton<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>There is little information in English on this breed, but from what we can tell pureblood animals no longer exist.
