Now among the three breeds reported to the DAD-IS for Bhutan.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>Like their ancestors, these hardy animals are sturdier than the other two breeds found in the country. This makes them well suited as pack animals over difficult terrain. According to the DAD-IS as of 2018 there were only between 100-150 Boeta animals left.
