They come from the Kura-Araz lowlands, which was more suited for horses.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>The origins of the Shirvan breed are shrouded in mystery. While the country is historically known for producing fine horses, this breed doesn&#8217;t resemble its ancestors in elegance.
