They are possibly bred for an equestrian test of skill called tent pegging played in the region.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>This is a saddle breed and similar to several of the breeds found in Pakistan and neighboring India, their ear tips are curved in a rather extreme manner. Although the Ghazi ears may not be as extreme as some of the other breeds and don&#8217;t generally meet in the middle. <\/p>\n<p>There is a possibility this is not a breed (they aren&#8217;t listed in the DAD-IS) but rather a strain of one of the official breeds bred in the Ghazi area (likely the <a href=\"\/breeds\/baluchi-horse\">Baluchi<\/a>.
