The goal was an elegant, modern horse with good balance, athletic movement and solid character.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Origins<\/h3>\n<p>After their calvary needs were finished, demand for them declined, as did their numbers. Todays Finnish warmblood, like most European warmbloods is used primarily for sporting purposes. <\/p>\n<p>In 2017 the breeders association became the Finnish Warmblood Association.
